What does "Goyim" mean?
The Hebrew word "goy" (plural "goyim") literally means "nation" or "people."
In the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), it can refer to any nation, including Israel itself (e.g., in Genesis 12:2, where God says to Abram, "I will make you into a great nation" — goy gadol in Hebrew).
Over time, especially in later Jewish usage, "goyim" came to refer specifically to non-Jewish nations or Gentiles.
Abraham's Blessing and the Nations
The promise to Abraham is foundational. God says:

“All the nations (goyim) of the earth will be blessed through you.”
— Genesis 12:3, also repeated in Genesis 18:18, 22:18, and elsewhere.
This is a universal promise — Abraham would be the channel of blessing to all peoples.
through Jesus
In the New Testament, this promise is interpreted as being fulfilled in Jesus Christ, who is a descendant of Abraham.
Paul writes:
“Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles (Gk: ethnē = nations = goyim) by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: ‘All nations will be blessed through you.’”
— Galatians 3:8

And:
“If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
— Galatians 3:29

Jews twisted the word. Like they twist anything good and turn it evil, Because they hate Christ.
