Israel is censoring it pretty heavily. Not only did Iran blast these oil tanks precisely, but Israel wasn't even able to sound the alarm and warn the Haifa residents like Khazar Queer.
Israel is now trying to spin the story that it was just an errant Iron Dome interceptor missile that blasted the oil storage tanks which are 100meters away from the Interior Ministry HQ that was blasted just 48 hours ago (small circle in pic related).
Not sure what the strategic significance is of hitting these tanks, but maybe they were just filled with gasoline from emergency tankers in the last few days.
Israel's main oil refinery is just 300 meters outside of this frame, and that was blasted repeatedly and put out of service completely, so now Israel is going to mostly rely on emergency shipments of refined gasoline and diesel and kerosene for jet fuel.
Israel's power plants have switched to coal, from oil/gas. Maybe that's not a coal power plant next to these oil/gas tanks.
In any event, Haifa took another huge hit today, which is super demoralizing for the Israelis because nearly that exact spot was mega-blasted just 48 hours ago.
This Haifa port is also where most of the boats are sailing out of, full of terrified Jews sailing to Cyprus. El Al Airlines will start running a cruise ship service to Cyrpus out of this port, starting Monday.
Expect refugee boat traffic out of this battered port to skyrocket, since the port itself will be shut down relatively soon.
Maersk Shipping has already decided to stop all ships to Israel. It's the biggest shipping company in the world.
And after today's strike on this harbor, more shipping companies will follow. It would be irresponsible not to.
LMAO.
