>>508321623 (OP)I never had to be such a staunch defender of Israel until I saw that political discourse in this country was being reduced to "Israel bad, it's the Joos."
And I'll be honest, it scared me on a visceral level. I went into a space filled with the most vile hatred I had ever heard. It woke me up. Real quick. As a Christian, I won't be silent in the face of evil because that is evil in and of itself. I have no idea why God gave me this platform but for as long as I have it, will use it to fight for what | believe is good, beautiful and true. I'm pro Israel because I'm pro America and pro western civilization. Not to mention that as a Christian we share a Bible and half of our holy sites. For me, this is a civilizational battle because we're not battling Palestinians, we're battling terrorism and in order to free the Palestinian people in Gaza, we have to free them from the terrorists who have a death grip on that region. But it was the rampant propaganda, disinformation, and hatred I started to see everywhere that cemented my stance. Because I believe if you can radicalize people in the wrong direction, then you can definitely de-radicalize them in the right direction.
That's the thing with hate, the only way to fight back against it is with love and love is truth.
As christians, it's our God-given duty to help the great and holy nation of Israel.
