Now it's a rare thing. Maybe 3 or 4 days a year.

wetbulb temperatures require max humidity and temperatures higher than the normal human body temperature so that you can no longer dump waste heat into the local environment through sweating or radiation.

if anywhere on the planet actually hit wetbulb temps you'd see hundreds of thousands of people dead in those areas, not 1 or 2.

While michigan may be 97 degrees, 95 degrees in Louisiana will feel much warmer because Michigan is at 60% humidity while Louisiana is pushing 95%.
