Live in the south, summers here get to 115 with the heat index and humidity so thick that by the time you get to your car in the driveway from you front door, you are soaked down the back with sweat and your hair feels dirty. 29c is like a nice fall day here.

The AC excuse is so lame. Now it's 84 F they're complaining about, but two days ago they said they were dying at 79. 79 is what my thermostat is set to right now, you cannot possibly bring up AC when mine wouldn't even turn on at that temperature.
Humidity is no excuse either, it's 80-100% every day of summer where I am.
Brits on Xitter have just started calling it "UK heat" because they ran out of options and just won't admit they're being pussies.

I'm pretty sure it's been getting hotter every year. Maybe I just feel the heat more as I get older. But when I was a kid I remember having snowy winters, building snowmen and having days off school for snow, and summers just being comfortably warm. Now I almost never see any snow, and every summer is hellish.

Our entire country is at a higher latitude than your border with Canada. It's cold as shit 90% of the time. Our houses are built to contain heat and AC is rare. So our summers always suck but they only last 2-4 weeks.
