Europe honestly has no place in the future we're headed towards. They'll whine about it (what else would they ever do?) but each year they'll become increasingly less relevant until they completely collapse.
Europe will become the new third world, because they don't really have any resources (except for the Northern countries with oil). They'll gradually and then rapidly collapse as their agricultural systems fail due to climate change.
