I don't care about the Iran strike if Trump can get out of it without retaliation, if he gets the BBB passed and we get mass deportations it was worth it. No I don't favor any middle eastern war either.

I voted for Trump 3 times (1st election only in the republican primary because I was in Assachussetts and the general didn't count there) but that he cucked to covid instead of saying fuck everyone we're not shutting down anything really really pissed me off. I still back him because there was no alternative, DeSantis looked like one for a little while so in 2024 backed DeSantis in the primary but it was clear he was going nowhere.

I have the same experience. Most republicans I know (friends, coworkers, neighbours) have all told me they regret voting for Trump. He promised lower egg prices, and instead got us into a trade war with our allies, women's and LGBTQ+ rights abolished, a billionaire has seized control of private citizen's data and federal funds, our military is about to invade Gaza (so much for no new wars lel), he's appointed literal traitors to his cabinet, armed ICE agents are raiding schools and children's hospitals, and EGG PRICES HAVENT GONE DOWN.
I know it's hard to admit you're wrong, but Trump is literally one of the biggest mistakes in American history.

He literally doesnt care about anything but making a legacy for himself since he was immediately a lameduck president as soon as he won his 2nd term, now its all about making a historical impact that will be remembered and talked about for generations to come. He wants a legacy on par with the Washingtons, Lincolns, and Roosevelts, thats it, and the only way to get that legacy with a war, one way or another.
