The idea that the foreskin would be considered vestigial is absolute bullshit. In plain biological terms, a penile covering is a highly conserved trait in EVERY SINGLE SPECIES WITH A PENIS. Just because it is not a vital organ does not mean it is vestigial. A vestigial part has no or minor function. Ensuring the reproductive organs remain protected is a major function, in evolutionary terms.
The original justification for circumcision (make mating less desirable, discourge masturbation aka natural sperm refresh) is an evolutionary disadvantage in itself. Men with fresher sperm who enjoy sex more build stronger bonds with their wives and have more children, who have a more present father to be raised by.
If judaism truly happened upon a supreme natural moral law, it did not occur here. Naturally god created us to be fruitful and multiply. In an idealized and self-coherent form of old testament law, we would then be required to keep our penises intact, and masturbation, rather than being a taboo associated with consuming sexually deviant entertainment, would be taught as a lustless ritual for ensuring fresh sperm and superior stamina before having sex with your life.
