That is my whole point of mimicking the appearance while not understanding even the most rudimentary concepts in physics.
You should do a bit of light-reading about cargo cults, its quite fascinating really.
For example during WWII, when the Japanese and Americans took over tribal nigger islands temporarily for military purposes, they brought with them objects that they've never seen, processed ready-to-eat foods in cans, textiles, objects made out of metals and plastics, etc.
The people that came in their big warships and made runways and flew planes, might as well been gods from their point of view who had never even seen so much as a wheel or a sail.
The soldiers shared some of these magical things with the niggers, who were completely astonished by all the things.
But then, the soldiers ultimately left, never to come back.
The airdrops of supplies stopped and they didnt see the magical items again.
So they started to mimic what they had seen the soldiers do, hoping it would summon more airdrops for them.
They marched like soldiers would, held flag-raising ceremonies hoisting up a piece of cloth, that sort of thing.
Because they thought these ceremonies is what made the airdrops appear from the sky.
This is what cargo cult means, mimicing something that you have seen because you think that is how it works, while being completely unable to grasp the reality behind it all.
