>>508479312Read this. It's a subsect of american christianity called Dispensationalism. It was popularized in the 19th century by the original Zionists who paid for a doctored bible called the schofield bible to be printed in america.
It didn't have much success at the time. But was picked up heavily in the 1960's and 1970's in America and popularized by well funded evangelical churches.
The actual passage is in Genesis.
It states;
12 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
God here is making a promise or covenant with Abraham. This promise also confers to Abraham's seed.
Now the dispensationalist bible states in it's footnotes by Schofield the guy who compiled it, that the modern jewish people are the seed of Abraham and thus the promise confers to them and always will.
However even a cursory look over the bible you will see multiple chapters and verses that say that this is not the case.
Galatians 3:16 in the bible states: 16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
This clearly says that the promises made unto Abraham ended with Jesus. This is because Jesus is the fulfillment of the promise made to Abraham. Abraham's lineage and purpose is for Jesus to come and when he did the promise was fulfilled and ended. There are a few passages in the bible that confirm this and reiterate it.
However dispensationalism is not a scriptural religion. It was sponsored by zionist members in England for Schofield to write and distribute within the US to lay a foundation for a Christian sect that would worship israel.
