>>508479927Nice to know my main vaporizer is still considered endgame. I bought the showerhead model back in 2018 when they were still called Newvape. This unit hits like a fucking freight train (closest to a "real bong hit" that you can conceivably get from a vaporizer), one of my friends said it makes regular bud feel like a dab hit. I set it to 660ยฐF, and you get a lot of control with just draw speed (faster = cooler with convection vapes, recommendation is to start out slower draw and speed up once it starts to milk up a little). Been using the same coil that came with it; surprised it lasted this long but it works great. The showerhead model that I have is discontinued but allows for dabs and flower at the same time. I've done this but it's kind of a waste of flower since you toast whatever's in the chamber pretty quickly (somehow I've never burned with it, but that might be years of experience with the magic flight box). But! If you really had a rough day and need that kick in the ass, add a small drop of concentrate to the top of a relatively full bowl and take smaller hits with more frequent stirring until it melts into the herb. Generally when I get to this point I'm either celebrating or its time to give it a break for awhile, but it is fun sometimes.
I have a companion handheld vape (and equally expensive lol) called the TinyMight 2. Made in Finland, also convection, uses replaceable 18650 batteries and is exceptionally on-demand (heats up in 7 seconds from cold). Also has a WPA but I'd sooner use my flowerpot with a bong. However it's nice for quick hits, going to concerts (I usually leave it in the car), hanging out with friends, or watching a movie. nice to keep it close by when I'm doing work around the house or out in the garage.
Highly recommend either of these over a volcano, plenty, mighty/crafty, etc (I've used them all). Storz & bickel used to be peak but that was a long time ago, and afaik they don't offer any convection models
