The irony is that the American left has done more damage to the European left than the European right ever did or could ever hope to do. Worker and consumer interests have taken a back seat to American style anti-white, anti-male etc politics for the past 20 years or so, and as the European left continues to become more and more Americanized, people start sympathizing with the American boomer right, which then normalizes that bullshit here too.
