I don't really give a shit about the Nuclear Facility strikes if it cows Iran into backing down. The entire point I would be against another Afghanistan or Iraq are these reasons in order of importance:
1. It would involve committing American troops to another forever war
2. The costs would be as ridiculous as the aforementioned occupations
3. It's committing too much on behalf of a foreign nation for little gain

I don't particularly care about the whole Israel thing, because lets be honest, they're going to control the golem regardless of whoever gets in office (unless someone like us gets elected, but that's not happening due to the nature of modern democratic systems).

If it results in retaliation I wouldn't be at all surprised however, and if it results in another forever war, I'm just going to hope people start killing politicians (This also won't happen).

To put it bluntly, Iran hates the US just as much as Israel.
If they were to use their nukes if developed, there's an argument to be made that they would use them on the US, due to the meddling in the area.
I think Iran mostly hates the US for supporting Israel, however, but unfortunately it's now a fait accompli, the US has supported Israel, now the US deserves death, so the US needs to support Israel against its geopolitical enemy, since they now have dual interests.
If the Iran government was smart, they'd explicitly state that they no longer give a shit about America, as it would sap a lot of the rhetoric of its strength, but I digress.
