There's one thing that never gets mentioned anywhere, and I don't know why:
The main implied threat of Iran against the US isn't the bombing of US' bases in the Middle East.
Iran having hypersonic missiles means they can sink the US fleet in the region if they feel like it.
That's why Trump was walking on egg shells the entire time during this conflict and hesitated to engage the US.
And without the US full involvement, that means it's just a little confetti of a country against a country 90 million strong and with a solid industrial base.
