DNA is fake.
Just look at this nonsense.
But a lot of that information is corrupted. Biological systems don't store exact copies.
The nutter who invented it was high on lsd.
And We're supposed to believe some drug addicts fantasy.
>>508559968The person who invented it was kicked out of academia for saying that IQ is related to DNA and Blacks are dumber for it.
>>508559545Why do you say that? It even has parity.
>>508559968You're thinking of the PCR reaction. The guy who discovered DNA is a based urChud
>>508558971 (OP)imagine uploading entire /pol/ archive into your DNA
>shitposts flow trough my veins
>>508559545it’s also complete horse shit. theoretically yeah you can map a binary sequency to the A T C G things like
A = 0000
T = 0001
C = 0010
G = 0100
and such but petabytes of legible data? video files? lmao no
Even computers have errrors and corruption of data.
thats why there are redundancy protocols in both computers and cells.
>>508559545
>>508559968wasnt that the guy who developed the DNA comparison technology not the guy who discovered DNA itself? he made a machine and the process that would rapidly copy DNA so it could be compared to known DNA samples
>>508560110So he was a racist drug addict as well, it gets worse..
>>508558971 (OP)Data is something that you can check later.
DNA not a data and its cannot have any other info than what he desing for
Can i use it as my new ssd?
>>508560474Trust the science chud. He literally invented DNA
>>508558971 (OP)Technically that 0.1MB picture can hold thousands of GB of pictures encoded in it somehow. I never quite was able to wrap my head around how but I remember it being used on here before.
>>508560526 >FRANCIS CRICK, the Nobel Prize-winning father of modern genetics, was under the influence of LSD when he first deduced the double-helix structure of DNA
Some drug abuser has a drug reaction and we are all supposed to believe it, my mate saw a giant cat on a acid, nobody says yeah mate giant pet cats are real and we can base a science on them.
Even he knew it was just the drugs.
>>508560733Giant pet cats are real. Look at Maine coons and Norwegian forest cats.
We still don't know what 70% of DNA does
>>508558971 (OP)Retarded popsci garbage. The toothpick that I'm chewing on right now can store all of humanity's informational output for the entire written history so far. Just because the atoms of the toothpick can be configured into variations that mirror data encoding doesn't mean that you're actually *storing* data in them. Storing is when you can store and retrieve with ease and with a near-zero cost. Good luck arranging the atoms of the toothpick in any useful configuration that is not just a toothpick.

He should have been jailed for his crimes, it's alright for him to take drugs because Muh science.

>>508561842No. It's an illegal drug.
Banned for good reason look what it did to Charles Manson, they jailed him; and this other fuckstick gets awards for taking it
>>508558971 (OP)Probably is fake.
And I wasted 4 years getting a degree in molecular biology.

>>508558971 (OP)The read and write speed leaves something to be desired. As does the stability of the information over time, a lot of the space would need to be set aside for redundancy if used as data storage.
It's a rather effective form of data storage though: everything around us came from humans and our capacity to learn & remember and that's all a byproduct of our DNA. Humans could remember, store, and recall the most complex, dense information as long as a string of them decided to log & retain the knowledge over courses of generations. And as generations go on, each & every one can disseminate, analyze, and contribute to this data over time, thus refining what is at hand. It's like a form of defragmentation as the data accrues & compiles. And as one individual uses what was given to them by their DNA to store information, they can then replicate this information in the world around them, convert it to other forms of media, to pass onto the next generation for processing and storage. DNA is literally the one storage format that can't be outpaced or made obsolete because our DNA builds the world around us. It is one of the most base storage format. It is the one storage format that contains the knowledge to build all other storage formats, outside of using the atomic positioning of the Universe as a multi-state transistor computer.
>>508562058Retarded conclusions in that link. If you actually did molecular biology then you did teaching lab experiments involving transfection with plants and transformation with bacteria which prove the DNA is the element responsible for the trait presentation.
>>508561518Belief is for religions anon.
Look at the actual scientific evidence. It's pretty shoddy.
