This really started with end of World War II and establishment of double think in society. When we started getting double think, we pretty much guaranteed this perpetual endless "war" that isn't war, with no start or end date and the end is whatever they want to be.
Example: Israel has bombed Syria like over 200 times since 2011 and continues to do so to this day. There was no formal declaration of war and Israel has said it has a the right to invade their air space and bomb them at please. Now Israel is doing the same for Iran, invading their territory both in the air since 2024 and by land by Mossad since who knows when.
