I grew up with a very very politically involved mom from the time I was born and I can tell you this, about every 7-8 years the right wing starts to get attention from the normies and it starts a movement with momentum and all the politically involved people start saying stuff like "people are really waking up" but the truth is that they already have their controlled opposition leaders embedded in the movement.
