Needed to hit a diet. Dad told me only eat once at 2pm and don't eat anything else for the day. It worked.

I was still eating burgers and pizzas but only one meal and just dropped so much weight no exercise no special shit

Yes, the basic principle of "calories in, calories out" is literally the only thing that works. Other than weight loss drugs that destroy your insides.

I would not advise you to do One Meal A Day long term and instead look up a calorie calculator to find out the amount you should actually be consuming for day to day life, but a lot of people have a lot of success with OMAD especially in the beginning.

I know that's what I do. I am fit and I literally eat pizza and burgers almost everyday. All I did was remove 2 meals from my day and use chewing gum and diet coke to get rid of the hunger

I'm down 11 kg in a year. 86 to 75. All I did was stop eating lunch and switch beer to wine/cocktails. I still drink like a half bottle of wine a day, but there's something in beer beyond calories that makes the belly grow when you have 3 or 4 a day.

My "34 inch" waist pants (they're probably vanity sized) now fall off if I don't wear a belt.

I've never been a big eater but always had a few beers after work to sleep, couple times a year I start noticing a beer gut starting to appear and swap beer for clear spirits and it disappears in no time. Vodka, lime juice and sodawater is a nice refreshing summer evening drink with basically no calories. Can add some mint and sugar for a mojito if you like your drinks sweet.
