If they didn't blow some shit up in Iran they'd be in the air for the same number of hours doing the same bombing runs on some practice target in the desert somewhere. We even have a miniature Middle East we built in the desert to practice bombing and invading.
It's funny there are often articles here near the end of the fiscal year where people are told not to worry about the military activities all over because they are simply using up their allotted budget of fuel and bombs and stuff that they don't have facilities to store if they don't use it up before the new contracts come due. So you don't really understand these things at all. You could read all about it, but you won't.
