I did like kentucky. Driving through to Florida long ago. High in the Appalachians made me think of Scottish Highlands or something like that. Very Misty and foggy and very green rolling hills. The Appalachian mountains I'm more like big hills. There's hills just as big here in KC. Can't remember what the name of it is but as you go up in elevation the top of them mountain might be 6,000 ft but the dip down to the valley is only a couple hundred feet it makes it look like a small hill. I'm rambling. Mountains in Colorado look badass not going to lie they're much bigger maybe it's called prominence? I can't remember. The biggest sheer mountain face I ever saw was in Delaware I believe for the minute that I was driving through it on my way to New York city. Long ago. But this is as far west as I've ever been. Been everywhere East. Feel like the Southwest is calling me. Really want to move to Arizona or New Mexico or something like that. I want to get away from the cold weather. Talk to many people from the southwest and they said they'd take the 120° dry heat over the 90 with the high humidity any day of the week.

But holy fuck the blacks are something else and it just feels vaguely run down and criminal. Well I was driving from Michigan to New York City for work hauling a truck and a double axle trailer with equipment. And I just remember seeing a mountain face I think I was on i-80?
