maybe we need to focus on putting less pollution into the atmosphere globally

well, that's what I mean, we need to incentivize china and india switching from coal to natural gas and try to maybe make trucks and commercial vehicles a bit less polluting, I don't think passenger cars are the problem

would be nice to get a nuclear mini-winter but probably a better less intensive way to cool the atmosphere surely is possible

it's ok i live in zone 9b which will become 5b if i've calculated correctly. therefore i can grow most northern style fruit trees in a forest, but have to start inside first. also the fist need to climate adjust. i have tropical fish and fruits now. my transfer is gonna suck. fugg :DDD

I think it's 7b/8a here, but that measures winter minimum and not the extent of summer heat.
It gets down to 20f every winter, and then maybe every other winter it gets down to 10f. What's unfortunate is most of the year is either too cold or too hot, and the pleasant season of mild weather tends to be all too short.

It doesn't usually get this hot for this many days. This sort of intense persistent 100F heat in the summer is unusual and extreme here. It's not WAY worse than usual, just 10-20% hotter and more humid, but damn is it ever suffering.
