you cannot have capitalism without immigration. Mobility of capital and labour is required in a successful capitalist system. There is not a single capitalist country with strict immigration policies.

Capitalism requires constant growth. Investment needs to grow, consumption needs to grow, productivity needs to grow, exports need to grow. Population needs to grow, unless you build more robots to increase productivity. But at some point you reach a dead end and need more people.
