If there's too many non-Whites where it doesn't make sense I turn it off. Like if I'm watching a Samurai movie or Zulu, I'm fine with their being non-Whites. If I'm watching some show about a guy and a girl going about their day, I can only tolerate the token brown or 2 at best.

Cosmopolitanism ruins media for me. It's one of the ways Baulder's Gate 3 breaks immersion constantly.

It is impossible to watch anything released in the last 20 years that doesn't have something off putting about it. I will ignore it if the plot itself is decent and not full of stupid shit. Like Black Lightening I gave a shot because I liked the Flash. The very first episode in the first 5-minutes there is a White cop pulling a black guy over for being black. I can't watch goyslop like that at all.

no but i think it lowers the quality of the historical production when they force dei shit into it. wolf hall season 1 was great, two was not great. the serpent queen season 1 was ok, they turned it up in season 2 and it was shit.

in most cases its cringe when they do this. the only exception i can think of is when i saw a shakespeare play with black actors in it. theatre is a kind of different experience altogether though and i didn't expect historical accuracy from it, its more of a stylized portrail of history.
