>>508737442 (OP)>Iran's conventional capabilites are no match for Israel'sI agree with everything he wrote (no shit, doesnt take a genius to figure that out), except for the sentence I highlighted.
Firstly, Iran is a massive country, Israel can bomb Tehran all day, but the truth of the matter is that Tehran will simply rebuild and replace the killed top brass/scientists.
Iran has severely damaged Israel's economy and infrastructure. Israel's has been spending close to 200-250 million dollars per day in missiles, plane maintenance and iron dome interceptors. Thats an unsustainable expense. Not to mention actually running out of missiles. Furthermore in terms of people leaving Israel and sitting in bunkers all day, they are taking a big loss in manpower.
Israel "decapitated" 30-ish high ranking officials and generals, sure, but in terms of long-lasting economic and diplomatic effects Israel lost BIG TIME. The world remembers who attacked first. The world remembers who attacked 2 days after a scheduled negotiation with the Americans. The world remembers that the US pretended not to be involved, but then got outed by the Israelis to have played along.
As much as Iran was hit hard, Israel lost/is losing the conventional exchange in my opinion.
