The crow is not like that. Crows and ravens are intelligent and can be honourable to the person who tames them. They often bring shiny objects or gifts to humans who feed them regularly. In many stories around the world the crow is a trickster but is honourable in the end and does the right thing. In Norse cultures for example Odin had two ravens which helped him. Or in Native American cultures the crow and raven are holy birds.
