There's also the fact that people will never be able to protest in anything other than in perfect orderly fashion because they know they're being watched for all and any transgression, verbal or physical. Especially verbal since they also listen to you in public spaces now. I think EU's walkable city initiative basically introduced total spyware within public infrastructure.
