ITT we discuss viable third alternatives, since neither slavery nor parasitism are good lifestyles.

The truth is, both groups are profoundly unhappy, hence the venom in their pointless eternal arguments.
Happy people wouldn't even join the discussion, not would they care much about proving their correctness in this argument.

I personally have been on both sides of the fence, and they're both more or less equally miserable.
Being a wageslave is exhausting, humiliating and unfulfilling. Being a NEET is embarrassing, depressing, and unfulfilling.

So, let us discuss true alternatives: entrepreneurship, crime, unusual occupations. Share your experience with ways to escape the false dichotomy.

*viable alternatives on an individual scale and within a modest timeframe

TKD is the global solution, but it's gonna take a while. In the meantime, it would help if its proponents weren't so hamstrung and paralyzed by being flat broke.

99/100 dudes would prefer to make money and have resources if they had a way to do it without grinding themselves to death or slaving or mooching.

NEETS outside of countries with full bennies who say they like being NEETS, and wages who claim to like being wagies, are both coping and lying.

nah, just be a neet and buddhist, do nothing, be noone, meditate into the void and reach moksha, and watch as the loosh farming demon aliens starve and the false matrix comes undone, this unironically the most moral option btw. Within duality there is no taking sides.

>grow plants and sell them
Growing plants without a hundred loicenses with intent to distribute is illegal in America. Source: personal experience. Same with mushrooms and damn near everything else.
>smoke?
exactly
>fishing?
Actually a good idea and probably the future tbqh, but initial upfront capital investment for an aquaculture startup would require more teamwork and discipline then most Americans are ready to endure. And it would only take one nigger faggot or jew to liquidate the entire enterprise in its infancy, probably in the form of a (((regulator))) demanding you overcome one of a hundred arbitrary barrier-to-entry loicenses
>create some meme artifacts from [anime/videogame] brand then sell them
Dayum that takes me back when I think about how easy it would have been for my whole family to help my brother hone his anime skills to generate ad revenue. We could've even juggled credit card interest rates in like some sort of Japanese carry trade scheme involving crypto, but alas, heroin oxycontin and percosets were my parents top priorities when I was growing up. I even showed him how to post on /a/ but my shit is like shitty xkcd stick figures that would make /i/ cringe

Wow those few examples sound really interesting, if only you could tell us more.

I guess Waco, Ruby Ridge, Oklahoma City and Kaczynski's cabin were all the wrong places then. Perhaps all the right places are in brinewater bays and harbors, but we would have to be ever-vigilant and ready to turn any potential tragedy of the commons into a comedy of the commons... preferably by having all degenerates sleep with the fishes in a neverending morality play for the masses. Think of it as Bread and Circuses 2: Aquarian Boogaloo

The best of both worlds is either entrepreneurship, owning a semi/fully absentee business, or some sort of odd job like being a limo driver or setting up events like runs where you have more flexible hours and am able to then write off a bunch of your expenses as a tax write offa and game the system (((gigs))) don't count and fucking suck. Wagies can't write off shit and neets are one missed filing paper away from losing their income, oh and wagies have no job security unless their government.

The way to win is to break the rules and do what you're not expected to do. If everyone is doing one thing (why I highly would avoid Uber or computer engineering or honestly accounting) I would make sure not to do that.
