Man has coexisted with animals for tens of thousands of years. Wide variety of living creatures vastly outnumbered the total volume of humans that have ever existed. Not one instance of an animal attempting to commune with a human to relay sentience.

Is this proof enough that animals are biological robots without souls? Shouldn't there be at least one genetic fluke that provides one animal with enough capacity to wish to reach out to humans?

Mexicans bred some races into existence on accident.

They were the first to domesticate the Wolf as well as the OX. After they left (or died out) the left over races continued without them.

But there are several cases of desperate animal mothers that reach out to humans to help save their child. Which they do and they bow in gratitude or in some form, thank them before taking their child away.

Not what op is saying. Op said it is strange how in this incomprehensible amount of time added with the even more incomprehensible number of animals out there, not one single animal displayed free will/sentience. Sure, apes are intelligent, but you could not call qny ape sentient.
And that fact itself is very, very, very strange. Because given the numbers and what is presented by the theory of evolution, theres bound to be some animal, even if just once, that had a "soul" and could free think. And he could easily have reached out to a human and tried to tell them.

not a lot of people do that either; look into Jörg Lanz von Liebenfels, he had the idea that both creation accounts in the Genesis were valid, except that the humans created on the Sixth Day were akin to animal (no free will/sentience as you put it) while Adam had (the "original human")
