I got my last job using indeed, as well as the job before that, but that was 5 years ago. I’ve applied for jobs recently, I am an accountant and qualified as a professor, but I haven’t received even an automated response in the last few years. The economy is worse than people think it is. I was looking for a new job last year. I applied for maybe 20 jobs, was flown in for 2 in person interviews and received 3 offers. Did about 7 phone/teams interviews. I don't have any social media at all and I'm about 10 years older than most candidates for the jobs I applied for. Have any of you considered that your work experience is lousy and that you interview poorly?

I got a job on there. The ones that email you are usually the desperate ones with high turnover. If your resume/skills/experience sucks so bad that you never get calls back, you need to look into those high turnover jobs that will hire nearly anybody. My job will hire pretty much anyone with relevant experience and pays over 100k, poverty wage in my state though. Guess.
