Chatgpt is easy to use, but still has hallucination and personality issues. Gemini is google, which is satanic, but I have to admit is very fast and accurate. It's also surprisingly good at deep research.
Deepseek is an rip off with a cutoff date from a while back.
Perplexity is good for general reasearch and lists sources it synthesized from.
Haven't tried the others. I'm not a coder so I don't know how they fare in that domain. You can rotate between the free tiers of most of these and see for yourself.
