I've never been to the USA and thus haven't drank US beer or malt liquor. Not being allowed to get drunk in public I already experienced before, though - in Norway and Russia (I drank there regardless because I only found out about it a few days later).

I'm 2 weeks sober after 10 years of binge drinking and it feels great, never poisoning myself with booze again. Times like these I need to have a clear and focused mind, there's trouble ahead

I just mowed the lawn so I may tuck into a cream ale I brewed the other week. Quite a dry thin beer and very lightly hopped. Very crisp, clean and refreshing. One would be forgiven to peg it as a lager. But it's not. It's a pure ale.

Double Cream from the supermarket is an underrated dirty bulk

I've had my share of Evan Williams. If there's a better $:quality bourbon out there, I don't know what it is. Wild Turkey comes close but it's not as cheap.

Finishing my second tin of this, thankfully it's a proper English ale not IPA shite. Had a strong cider and a pint of Hawkstone earlier.

When I lived in the UK I used to take advantage of the 3 cases of 10 for £21 deals. Occasionally they had those Tributes thrown into the mix. They were great. Its hard to find a good honest ale here. Its pretty much all hoppy ipa's and pilseners. There are some basic imports (Old Speckled Hen for example ) but the prices are high and the selection is low.

Alcohol stimulates bile production, as does fatty meat. Both are good for your overall health (in moderation).

If you don't consume enough fats compared to the toxic foods that plug up the liver (like most processed shit) you can end up with a myriad of diseases.

I'm not saying alcohol or fatty foods are a cure, because they're not, but drinking to excess or eating high fat foods now and again could very well help flush the daily toxins we all consume here in the western world. There's a reason people used to "chew the fat" in their parlors with guests.

I could go on about health but...search Hulda Clark the cure for all diseases to get a basic understanding if you're actually interested. Everything health related gets back to the liver, spleen, and kidneys...which is what all traditional medicine taught. Back when life expectancies were rising instead of falling.
