This, and I love how people think its something that they can do themselves. Everytime I see chainsaws for sale in stores I think about how any retard can buy them, as well as how theyre never sold alongside ppe like chaps, helmet, eye pro, etc. that might make people realize theyre dangerous.

and the disasters are 99.9% because they skimped. good tree cutters charge those insane prices because it's gonna cost you 10x more not to. like that tree in the vid, it was obviously heavily weighted toward the house and all you can do is use a large tractor/truck to counter that or start trimming that side of the tree's limbs off so the weight is back on the side you want. you can't just cut out a wedge on these big trees that are already leaning. people are gonna have to rediscover the reality of "you get what you pay for".......jose's prices are low because his skill is low.

Mah you're overstimating it.
I have a plot of trees on my land, so I sometimes have to do some tree cutting. I bought protection gear initially, but I quickly realized that the main danger is the retard handling the chainsaw. Don't do stupid shit and keep your material in good condition and you're fine.

its not overestimating it.
had an uncle who tried to cut down a tree and he started with a branch.
he didn’t think the branch was that big but when it fell down it bounced off the ground and hit him off the ladder.
luckily he broke his fall with his arm.
his arm was broken and he needed surgery.

I've cut a handful of trees in my life and i could insantly see what was wrong from my dad's teachings.
1. The rope was useless
2. No trim. If you cant hug the tree with your fingers touching, you trim it. This makes it easier to control when its falling and balances the tree better.
3. The angle for cut was not high enough.

Anymore they try to leave old trees alone in my state. My neighborhood is very new, but there was this old oak tree, easily 200 years old, in the middle of the development, so that's where they put the park. Left all the land around it clear. Even if one of it's 20+ foot branches falls off it won't hit anything but bark chips or lawn.

Trees are invasive and cause damage to infrastructure. Some even become a hazard to others when their branches start falling off. Trees grow like weeds when they hit septic tanks and sewer lines and grow up into the house. If you want a tree, put it in your front yard or backyard. Keep trees off the easement and away from things you don't want damaged.

My house is over 20 years old. I have massive monster trees right next to my house. We make sure to inspect the trees annually, cut down anything unhealthy trees and rogue branches that overhang any structure on my property. I don’t see a problem unless you have unhealthy trees or limbs over your structures.

a good friend of mine has a tree company, so I had him do it. anyone that cheaps out and tries to do it themselves or hires retards deserves what happens.

That tree is so huge they should have pulled the line with a bulldozer and had it across the street to get leverage.

At least they tied the line high up, but judging from their general lack of brain cells, they probably tied it to a twig.

When they were done they rolled around together in their blazing hot backyard celebrating all the new sunshine. Was a total desert within a year and fucked up the property values of all the houses around them.

Nah I was too young to really understand the problem except that it was weird I had to go to the next door neighbors' house for bathtime. I was actually mad when they cut down the willow tree and uprooted the stump cause I liked that tree. The way it looked and also climbing it. Willows are premier climbing trees if you are a young boy. The way they lean and twist, plus the thick lower branches, makes them a natural jungle gym.

Retards think it stops the tree from leaning back. In reality it creates a pivot point of the holding wood and its more likely to snap when it leans back.

The ptoblem is sometimes it will work especially if theres 0 back or side lean. So these faggots get away with it and think they know what theyre doing.

Seems kinda pointless if they are cut off before blending as she's already lost her tits a d watching them blend wouldn't cause her more sorrow than having them cut off. Or maybe you want to drink them after blending? I don't get it.

Cause, ironically, they wanted to prevent any damage to the house from falling branches. Some of those branches are very, very big, and as the tree ages they get less sturdy. Also not sure about snowfall in Quebec in particular, but snow and ice accumulating on a weak old tree limb is one common way to see them snap off. I've seen heavy snowfall fell entire trees, actually.

I'm being degenerate and drinking on a Friday and I'm probably schitzo or something. but I watched tthe webm and I had these thoughts on it... "this beaver knows what he's doing. This beaver is doing what God intended him to do, God gifted him this ability from birth. Is God a beaver? Imagine if Beaver's had thumbs, would they use an ax or just use their teeth as God and nature intended? Their teeth always grow, so if they used an ax they'd have stupid long teeth and they would have to have a new way to keep their teeth short, enter Jew Beaver, (who's really a rat or opossum) Jew beaver fake sell them dentistry and some thing they have to do all the time. like we brush are teeth all the time and I don't think ancient man had to brush his teeth. When we are gone our tool using evolved beaver replacements will be tricked by Jew beavers into dentistry and shit they don't need.

I'm returning to nature, I'm going to go chew on a tree fuck this shit. Beavers are based.

Cost effective would be taking care of the tree from the start and pruning the branches from time to time. Now it's not all bad, some people may have bought a house with a huge tree in the yard and have no means of trimming it and have to get rid of it. Some people get old and can't care for trees like they used to, cities who fine old people for not being able to take care of their property are scum.

The insurance company forces you to cut the tree down if it overhangs the house.

Ironically, the act of removing the tree can generate an insurance claim.

I think that no matter what they did the tree would've fell on the house anyway. Its mass was leaning a lot on the house. Would've been smarter to cut its branches off that leaned on the house first.

You're out of your mind. You're a woman or a gay guy. That tree was solid and healthy, it wasn't going anywhere. Don't you understand anything? It was a TREE. Trees withstand wind over 100MPH, trees smaller and weaker than that.

No. Those trees weigh a massive amount. It's unreal how much they weigh. You'd have to get multiple cables and tension them from different support points. Two or three trucks, two more other points like other large tree. You would need to tension the fuck out of them.

If you do it the right way, by paying an insured and bonded arborist, you are going to pay $10,000 plus. It is real tempting to DIY when you are saving that much money.

To put it another way, that tree the White House had to cut down recently? It was being held up by cables and a supporting steel beam-and that wasn't enough.

Well, it was my fault, and the wind could have taken it anyway it wanted at that point. Instead of fully crushing the house, it did a partial damage. Chimney, part of roof, tore off the gutter.

I had a rope set up, and it snapped when the driver hit the gas too hard. At that point, only gravity and the wind were going to decide the direction of the fall.
