and the disasters are 99.9% because they skimped. good tree cutters charge those insane prices because it's gonna cost you 10x more not to. like that tree in the vid, it was obviously heavily weighted toward the house and all you can do is use a large tractor/truck to counter that or start trimming that side of the tree's limbs off so the weight is back on the side you want. you can't just cut out a wedge on these big trees that are already leaning. people are gonna have to rediscover the reality of "you get what you pay for".......jose's prices are low because his skill is low.

had an uncle who tried to cut down a tree and he started with a branch.

luckily he broke his fall with his arm.

I've cut a handful of trees in my life and i could insantly see what was wrong from my dad's teachings.
1. The rope was useless
2. No trim. If you cant hug the tree with your fingers touching, you trim it. This makes it easier to control when its falling and balances the tree better.
3. The angle for cut was not high enough.

My neighborhood is very new, but there was this old oak tree, easily 200 years old, in the middle of the development, so that's where they put the park. Left all the land around it clear. Trees are invasive and cause damage to infrastructure. Some even become a hazard to others when their branches start falling off. Trees grow like weeds when they hit septic tanks and sewer lines and grow up into the house. If you want a tree, put it in your front yard or backyard. Keep trees off the easement and away from things you don't want damaged.

Cause, ironically, they wanted to prevent any damage to the house from falling branches. Some of those branches are very, very big, and as the tree ages they get less sturdy. Also not sure about snowfall in Quebec in particular, but snow and ice accumulating on a weak old tree limb is one common way to see them snap off. I've seen heavy snowfall fell entire trees, actually.

This beaver is doing what God intended him to do, God gifted him this ability from birth. Is God a beaver? Imagine if Beaver's had thumbs, would they use an ax or just use their teeth as God and nature intended? Their teeth always grow, so if they used an ax they'd have stupid long teeth and they would have to have a new way to keep their teeth short, enter Jew Beaver, (who's really a rat or opossum) Jew beaver fake sell them dentistry and some thing they have to do all the time. like we brush are teeth all the time and I don't think ancient man had to brush his teeth. When we are gone our tool using evolved beaver replacements will be tricked by Jew beavers into dentistry and shit they don't need.

I'm returning to nature, I'm going to go chew on a tree fuck this shit. Beavers are based.

Cost effective would be taking care of the tree from the start and pruning the branches from time to time. Now it's not all bad, some people may have bought a house with a huge tree in the yard and have no means of trimming it and have to get rid of it. >I think that no matter what they did the tree would've fell on the house anyway.
You're out of your mind. You're a woman or a gay guy. That tree was solid and healthy, it wasn't going anywhere. Don't you understand anything? It was a TREE. Trees withstand wind over 100MPH, trees smaller and weaker than that.

would having a really tight rope pull it on the desired direction help guide the fall?

I did, and attempted to cut it down myself. I failed, though not as spectacularly as the the video. The tree wiped out the chimney as it went down.

No. Those trees weigh a massive amount. It's unreal how much they weigh. You'd have to get multiple cables and tension them from different support points. Two or three trucks, two more other points like other large tree. You would need to tension the fuck out of them.

If you do it the right way, by paying an insured and bonded arborist, you are going to pay $10,000 plus. It is real tempting to DIY when you are saving that much money.

To put it another way, that tree the White House had to cut down recently? It was being held up by cables and a supporting steel beam-and that wasn't enough.

Also, sometimes whoever was on this same network has been banned, and it will say something like, "You have been banned from [insert 4chan forum I never use] for porn requests. Your ban will be over in July of 2022."
Just a quirk of the forum. I didn't even notice my ID changed. Also, the date is way in the past sometimes. I think one of them was about 10 years old.

Interdasting.
(btw when the hack happened, it was discovered that many of the mods were from the University of Washington and Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Nothing like having your speech curbed directly by state and federal governments pretending to be private citizens on a Chilean bootleg SEGA Master System website.

Well, it was my fault, and the wind could have taken it anyway it wanted at that point. Instead of fully crushing the house, it did a partial damage. Chimney, part of roof, tore off the gutter.

I had a rope set up, and it snapped when the driver hit the gas too hard. At that point, only gravity and the wind were going to decide the direction of the fall.
