The opposite happened, companies cut prices in anticipation of their competitors raising prices to gain more market share. But their competitors did not raise prices either.

Turns out it was all a nothingburger, we got short term relief on a few items and that was it. Everything else remained the same Excluding auto and home insurance industry, which actually did pass that cost on
