I just want leave this hellhole and become a rancher down south and herd cattle on horseback.
I heard actually owning the land is crazy expensive, and that it's unprofitable and le factory/mechanized farming will mog me every time. I just want to be left alone and self-sufficient.
How do I do go about this bros?
>>508914949 (OP)same but want midwest latitude, not southern
>>508914949 (OP)You make millions then spend it all larping as a pre industrial rancher. Probably cheaper to just keep playing rdr or maybe find some sort of ranching simulator.
>>508914949 (OP)You can't because you weren't born here.
>>508914949 (OP)>Walden; or, Life in the WoodsGive it a read, despite being 1854 (and related costs). An idea of being left alone and being self-sufficient
>>508914949 (OP)Maybe befriend a southerner - if your skin is white and personality isn't jewish - and ask to live on his land in exchange for money and work?
>>508914949 (OP)You can find shitholes for under $100k, they need work but you won't do shit anyway even at that price, so go play vidya retard couch lover.
>>508915876I actually did read the first 50 or so pages on Walden. It was alright, probably need to finish the rest. But I don't want a life in the woods, I want a ranch where I don't have to hunt and can live pretty stable with SOME human contact (yes I know thoreau had human contact too in Walden)

I am a redneck from Texas and had this dream as well. There are some people in my family that still raise cattle. I gave up the dream in order to dedicate my life to helping my people in poverty, slavery, and genocide as a Muslim.
You should do some reading about cattle ranching. Whether you run a cow/calf or stocker operation, for example. A farm is a business and a risky investment. People still raise grass fed beef on pasture as it commands a higher price than factory beef.
Basically, you will have to do some research and then put some money down for land and cattle. You may have to start small and build it up. You can have my dream cause I don't need no more.
