Ik heb vannacht zo fucking raar gedroomd. Gedroomd dat Iran/Putin Amsterdam en Rotterdam had gebombardeerd met een fucking atoombom, terwijl ik aan het uitgaan was en een leuk meisje had gesproken (daar had ik moeten realiseren dat het een droom was). Leek super realistisch en toen ik die volgende ochtend ging kijken naar de “inslag” zag het eruit als een Minecraft TNT crater… en toen werd ik fucking wakker. Wat de fuck betekende dit?

Je moet begrijpen dat het er letterlijk uitzag als een van die atoombom opnames in Arizona. Ik had het overleefd door letterlijk vanaf een afstand in een wijnkelder te duiken (ik zat in gesprek met de oudere dame van een kroeg, over een of ander verandering in de stad), het leek zo fucking realistisch dat ik herrinerde dat ik m’n ouders had gebeld en dat ze okay waren. Iedereen op straat daarna was enorm nerveus en in de war van wat er ging gebeuren. Hele gesprekken erover gehad, ondertussen radio stilte niemand wist wat er aan de hand was, en ondertussen liet Amerika op zich wachten deed helemaal geen hoer terwijl een NATO land was gebombardeerd.

Ik snap niet hoe het zo snel en makkelijk was om mensen te overtuigen dat vrijheid van meningsuiting niet belangrijk is. Ze noemde het eens 1 van de belangrijkste waardes van het Westen...
