>>508961635Simon of Trent was never made a saint.
He was beatified which meant that the church recognised he had entered heaven and miracles were associated with him. Masses were also allowed to be said locally in honor of him. He was also added to the Roman Martyrology which is the official list of those who have died for their faith.
There are four stages to becoming a saint:
>Servant of God>Venerable>Beatified>SaintIn 1965 during the time of Pope Paul VI the veneration of Simon was abolished. However Pope Paul VI was a bisexual whose boyfriend was a well know Italian actor. He was also friendly with communists and jews
200 years earlier there was a similar case in England involving Little Hugh of Lincoln who was also killed by jews. He was unofficially made a saint in his local area and venerated but the Vatican never officially made him a saint.
This was very common in the Middle Ages. Many of the famous saints of that era were never officially made saints by the Vatican.
"Blood Libel" which means human sacrifice by the jews is an interesting topic.
Nowadays you get jailed if you deny the fake holocaust. Before 1939 anyone who talked about human sacrifice by the jews got the same treatment
