How did he win?

Can anyone give a somewhat serious non-biased answer? Because he has none of the charisma of zohran, and doesn't seem to have a history of politics either. So it's really confusing to me

you haven't been to London. It's a muslim city, all muslims vote for a muslim + all liberals vote for a foreigner.

It actually doesn’t make sense as London is 53% white, probably was higher when he was elected. Compared to New York only 31% white population.

also that british league midget explained why cops try to ignore rapes there, its because cops are controlled by city government and city government is afraid of losing muslim vote. Muslims are very active voters and vote for whoever their imam tells them to vote. Not sure if it's true but it makes sense.

White people are used to being under Crown rule (slave mentality). So being ruled by a Indian Muslim was the next logical level for them after their Queen died.

Most whites there were sick of the Tories constantly feeding us with bullshit, so either voted for him or didn't vote at all.

You under estimate just how many self-hating whites are in the capital.

Serious answer: easily beatable opponents, same as Trump.
Khan is a basic bitch soft labour stuffed suit, but his opponents were unelectable lunatics. Tories haven’t had a serious winning candidate since Boris - and that was a bit of a joke at first because he wasn’t considered capable of a serious ministerial role
Mayoral elections aren’t as serious as they are in NYC, it’s a bit of a joke role. You’ve had Khan, Boris who was an actual clown, and Ken Livingstone who was an actual communist

London is the only city with an executive mayor, so they function like a US mayor. it's a new thing, UK didn't really have cities, even London is a grouping of different towns and boroughs. other cities only have ceremonial ones, they're not elected and a new one is picked every year by councils so nobody cares who they are.

You definately haven't been to London. It's not a muslim city. It's just a Labour stronghold which voted for him (the turnout was shit).

The guy he beat last time was brown too.
Khan is competent at playing the modern politics Vicar of Bray game of not saying anything too retarded or getting caught balls deep in your secretary or alienating half the electorate. He managed to keep his nose clean while the rest of labour was going mad over Corbyn. Just a bland machine politician of the sort Trump or Boris beat easily, but the tories don’t have anyone like that.
