Rich whites would rather hang out and be around other rich people from other ethnicities than poor or middle class whites. Poor people in general, irrespective of race, are terrible. Middle class whites are jealous of their wealth and annoying to be around. Middle class whites also want to tax them. If you're rich, you actually have more in common with rich people around the world than poors and middles at home. Both of you want to evade taxes and put your money into offshore accounts, while the poors and middles try to steal from you, there's a lot of solidarity in that.
