This is technically not true. Homosexuality, whether latent or practicing, has no bearing on the exercise of Holy Orders, as sin does not affect the efficacy of the sacrament (that would be Donatism).

Sacrifice had little to do with absolving sin from a yahwist perspective. You're imposing Christian morals onto non Christian people. If you look back to the story of Cain and Abel, the sacrifice of something living is done purely to please yahweh. Each gave a sacrifice to their divine father and he was more pleased with the living one. The living one offers him more energy. Any sacrifice can work as a practice but living sacrifices are especially powerful because it offers a stronger energy.

There is only one form of Christianity. All else is heresy.
