I lose almost every game of chess since I can never predict what my opponent is going to do more than one or two moves in advance and when watching a movie or show, I never know what is going to happen next and every time there is a twist, I always think "wow, I didn't see that coming". I can also never come up with witty or humorous things to say. All I can do is play piano and go doodly doodly doo as an outlet for my inner turmoil

This is political because I am not only trying to improve my life but also intelligence statistics and overall functionality of the world which is an undertaking that has strong political implications. The picture is not related to the subject of the post

IQ is pretty much locked in. You can improve superficial aspects of it by learning common chess counters, for example, but you can't make yourself better at pattern recognition (which is what IQ boils down to at the end of the day).

You can improve all the meaningful aspects of cognition, you can leverage your working memory to achieve at the highest level with the right tools mastered and the newly developed ability to always chose them properly. You will soon achieve high but over time your measurements of all cognitive domains will rise as well but what matters is your outcomes.
