I have 988 acres (400ha) and it's barely viable for dryland ag as it's marginal country. Historically averaged 1T/ha wheat.
My aim is to gradually convert it to irrigated row cropping by using desalinated groundwater. Currently have a small system supplying 2 acres, but still got 1.5 years to go to see how the economics stack up.
