Working night shift hasn't been worth it since 24-hour Walmarts stopped being a thing. I used to love getting off at 2 in the morning and doing grocery shopping feeling like I'm the only customer in the entire building. Was lucky enough to have a brand new super walmart about 10 minutes from my place in college. Id go shop at 2am often. At that time of day the store was immaculate. all shelves restocked. it was weird and awesome that all of this was for me.

I remember my family used to go on vacation every year for a few weeks in South Carolina and the first thing we would do after arriving at our beach house was go to one of these Supercenters. One of the things that I always found amazing even as a child was the 10+ soda vending machines outside the store that sold a can of soda for .25c. Walmart as a company was already in the planning stages to end 24/7 shopping before covid but in stages region by region.
They just used covid to do it all at once and not give people the chance to bitch and moan about it.
As for the reason why the kikes at home office figured up sales for the majority of stores dropped off massively after 11pm and theft shoots up after 12.

On top of that the 1 or 2 people standing around the self checks can see everything you're scanning and ping it themselves if they see something is off (Jamal scanning a $200 item that rings up as a $2 pair of flipflops) + remotely alert ap so they can watch cameras.
