And it doesn't matter anyways, people are free to dislike mass immigration regardless of how far they are from its direct consequences because they are still affected indirectly and they live in a country that elects its politicians, which immigrants will inevitably affect.
I live in a large city with many immigrants. If you reach a certain amount you get problems, and denying it is only going to make the inevitable fallout even worse
