Chinese is by far the stupidest, ugliest language in the world. I can't think of another language that is as universally ridiculed as Chinese. Go to any country in the world and say "ching chong" and they will instantly know you're talking about China. Imagine a language that can be reduced to two fucking sounds "ching chong" kek. I had no problem getting through the French and Spanish duolingo. I made very few mistakes.

Mandarin is easy - just 4 tones.

Cantonese and Viet is harder with 9 tones. Viet uses standard English letters so that's a plus.
