I’m a pilot with back pain
I’m in literal tears now and I’m seriously asking for help. Please tell me what exercises to do to crack or reset my back. It’s affecting my mood. I swear if I get any jokes here. I’m going to crash. This is what I’m dealing with. In the morning I feel fine and throughout the day I feel a slight pressure, not even noticeable (back) but I notice because my legs and arms feel weak and sometimes I have slight testicular pain but I realize it’s all coming from my back. Cause in the morning I don’t have that. What do I do. Help pol now.

What’s stopping you from going to a physical therapist or chiropractor?

> I have slight testicular pain
Oh you're lucky it's not worse. Your hips are out.
A chiropractor, a good one can fix that. Crack your hips. You'll probably need to go every 2-3 weeks but a good chiropractor is not that expensive. Yes it can cause testicular pain because the hips are pulling on your testicles.
I had this problem. I have to go every few weeks just to get my hips adjusted again.

I know the feeling. I spend a lot of time at a computer chair doing computer programming and it makes my back and shoulders tense.

One stretch that helps a lot is called wall angels. Basically flatten your back against a wall and do snow angels against it.

I agree with the other anon, chiropractor or physical therapist would probably make a world of difference. Also if you’re fat losing weight will help. I’ve read people having success with acupuncture as well.

Yes, one of these back rollers helps A LOT. You can use a tennis ball or hard water bottle as well.

I’m not a chiropractor or any of that shit. But I watched a woman with a massive arse hang on a pull up bar for about 30 seconds. Her arse sunk down and you could see it stretch out her entire back and help destress and remove the tension put on her lower spine.

So idk if you’ve got a fat arse trying hanging on a bar or some shit

See a physical therapist for a few weeks to learn about stretches. Chiropractic may help. Consider getting an inversion table.

Go to a chiropractor, if your symptoms are that bad, you can't fix it on your own

I don't think we can really prescribe the right exercises for you, only you or a doctor can do that. But I'd suggest by stretching out your legs, doing core building exercises, and work on flexing your arms. Boxing is fun for building arm and upper core strength.

You don't have to be an instant pro at it either. Just stretch and flex those muscles real good for 5 minutes every day or two. And if you enjoy the process, and enjoy the results, then try 20 or 30 minutes. But don't over do it. Don't burn yourself out.

Back pain needs to be addressed holistically. There isn't one single thing you need to do. It's a bunch of things. Your whole body needs attention.

>back pain
muscle, skeletal, or nerve
there are so many different types of pain and different types of remedies
this is the problem, you need to identify the pain

You need a chair at a roughly 130 degree recline.

If they don't have that in the cockpit you need to do it whenever you're not at work.

Also: PUSHUPS. Pull-ups too, but especially pushups.

A lot of men don't realize how much pressure they're putting on their lower backs when they don't walk/stand with proper shoulder and chest strength. Your shoulders should almost hold your body up on their own. Otherwise your bad posture sends all of the stress to your lower mid section. If your legs and lower back are the only things holding you up, then I think you've got your answer. Give your neck a good stretch too.

my guess would be pelvic floor dysfunction, that would explain the testicular pain as well.
look into whether you have a pelvic tilt, there a 2 different types.
its often caused by excessive sitting.
