Why does nobody credit Christianity with leading Europe to conquer the globe? Christianity did what no other religion did and internalized evil, Christian guilt is a phenomenon not seen in eastern or pagan religion. By identifying evil inside the individual rather than outside Christians had a higher sense of personal responsibility which made them higher quality people. Buddhism on the other hand for example externalizes evil completely, life itself is evil and you should try to escape life, is it any wonder that this religion created a worthless civilization in comparison?
