Early in the 00s he married or was seriously engaged to a woman named Emily "Integral" (her forum name) and he let her have a lot of influence on the forum, and then she cheated on him or dumped him after a year or more of engagement. I think this kinda broke him.

A few years later he married Chinkwife, but kept her and the kids that followed separate from the forums. He was making enough money that he bought a pretty big upper middle class house in like Kansas or some mid country state, bought himself a sick sports car, everything was cool for a while but he basically dropped out of the forums.

Thats when the troon SJWs were left to run things and they ran everything into the ground.
Eventually Chinkwife divorced him, they had a couple young daughters. This fucked him up and he got even more into pills and booze.

A few years before the end he was living in a strip mall rented office with Shmorky.
One night he was super drunk and logged on and posted the address and asked for people to come hang out.
A goon eventually showed up and found Lowtax passed out drunk on the couch. He took a picture and posted it online.

Pretty sure shortly after that he lost even the strip mall office and had to sell or return the sports car. His suicide was pretty assured at that point for anyone paying attention.

But in all seriousness, SA felt too restricted after a while, as did many of the old forums. You kind of had to walk on eggshells cuz "10bux." Also, web 2.0's social media killed a lot of the legacy sites from early internet. Instead of us each having a corner on the internet whether it was fark, anandtech, neogaf, styleforum, dvdtalk, somethingawful, fatwallet, etc. we instead could all end up one big site that tried to cater to us all, similar to digg or reddit. Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc. all compounded that because now IRL and digital was merged into one identity.

I think 4chan is really one of the last places that still has the spirit of both a niche community and anonymity. I don't need to know any of you niggers, and I definitely don't need social media credit for my posts, here. The final straw was being put on the hook for child support again while the BPDemon took away all support from the forums by claiming domestic abuse. He had no escape after that.
The forums used to constantly warn him what kind of people he was putting in charge but he never cared. Those people promised to handle the forums and make all those bad bad people go away while sharpening their blade behind his back.
