>>509098112>>509098627>>509098775remphan is the greek translation, (Ῥαιφάν Ραιφαν), yes i know its kiyyun. talmud commentaries also confirm that the star of remphan/kiyyun is the sabbath star, which for them is saturn. i know that the star of israel is saturn and the sign of israel is aquarius.
beyond that, nothing really. for jewish connection, possibly derived from the tree of sephiroth from early kabbalists. im aware of older hexagrams that exist, yeah. but i just cant make any actual connection
the star of ishtar was used in babylon around the time they were there, but thats all i can find. there are 6 pointed stars in some reliefs, but couldnt get a connection from those either
as far as the actual magen david (shield of david) symbol goes, i did find the story of how it originated in prague, and that isaac bacharach changed his name due to using a red shield (of david)
thats it. there are some reliefs or carvings of it here and there, but no connection beyond that. theres even this fun swastika on a synagogue from way back in the day
does anyone have any real leads? theres no fucking way saturn has a fucking hexagon at its pole and the star of david not being the star of remphan. its just too good of a coincidence.
i dont like that saturn is associated with 7 in judaism, likely that means that their star had 7 points, but again this coincidence is just too good
does ANYONE have any good leads?
