Granted if you have some super expensive gold Rolex, that's different. There comes a point where very opulent watches just advertise wealth.
But those Seiko/Casios/etc, just look like a working class tech of some sort. Maybe an engineer at the best (complete with keys dangling from your belt loops, cell phone holster, etc).
I think it looks fucking retarded, but that's just me.
I tend to wear as few "tribal signfiers" as I can.
