Not "rage" as you think because I don't see it entering here. The act for this person, more often than not, the killing of the victim was done out of, sort of.... Look, on the one hand that act would be accomplished because of his perceived need to reduce the probability of detection after the sex act, another factor is this was a means to an end. The anticipation leading up to the killing of this kind is always a lot more exciting than the after math where the normal law abiding, rational self takes over again and resumes control. Of course it is forced to become party to this conduct and conspire for survival, a division of labor if you will. Overall, "arousal" would not be the correct word, it's more of an adventuristic type of thing. Don't worry, it would be quick. He takes no pleasure in inflicting suffering on the female. He even went so far to do everything he could not torture the victim with in reason, considering the unreasonableness of the act.
